Applying for a Canadian Study Permit
Purpose: If you have been accepted to a recognized Canadian educational institution and want to study in Canada, you will need a Study Permit. It allows you to stay in Canada for the duration of your program plus an additional 90 days.

Prerequisites:
- Proof of Acceptance:
- You must provide an official letter of acceptance from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada. Ensure that your school is a DLI as only these institutions can accept international students.
- Financial Proof:
- You must show that you have enough money to pay for tuition fees, living expenses, and return transportation. Typically, you’ll need at least $10,000 CAD for a single student.
- Intention to Leave After Studies:
- You will need to convince the immigration officer that you plan to return home once you complete your studies. Include any future career plans or commitments in your home country.
- No Criminal Record:
- A police certificate may be requested if you have a criminal history.
